Amelia’s POV....

“Hey.” Ryan got in front of me.

I tilted my head a little. So it was his car. What was he doing here?

Like he heard me, he replied, “I was going to the office. Where are you off to by the way?”

I told him about the cafe and he smilingly spoke up, “Let me drop you.”

“I will manage.” I tried to refuse Ryan when he offered to drop me at the cafe.

Ryan kept looking at me, “Do you have something against me, Amelia? I noticed you always try to avoid me. Is there any problem? You can be honest with me.”

“No. It's not like that. I just don't want to bother you.” I replied immediately in a defensive manner.

“I just thought I would take the bus.”

He got silent. The smile on his face faded away immediately.

“I guess you don't think me as a friend or may be you are not comfortable around me. It's okay.”
