It was almost lunch time. While working on a file, my phone rang off. It was Mom.

I was smelling a rat with her behaviour already. The person who was always ignorant towards me, she was being caring all of a sudden.

Why?

If nothing was behind all this and she was being real, I couldn't be happier.

But the possibility was very much lower, I knew.

Before I got myself to answer the call, the line got cut. But when my phone started ringing for the second time, I answered it.

"Hey, baby. Busy?"

I answered frowning, "Yes. You wanna say something?"

"Nothing serious. I was just passing by the area of your office. So, I was thinking of taking lunch together if you haven't already taken."

Was she even serious? I couldn't help wondering and got silent.

I heard her uttering, "It's almost lunch time, baby. You should take lunch in time and then work. Okay?"
