He looked taken aback as his eyes took in my furious expression. "Sydney," he reiterated and the sound of his voice repeating my name had seriously started to irritate me.

"Where is Joel?"

His lips seemed to wobble for a while before he was able to get his words out. "How did you get here?" Then his brows creased and his eyes softened as he took a step forward toward me.
