As Mr. Edwards ended the call with Liam, he put the phone away, and looked up to see Mr. Reginald Simpson, Elena, and Samuel Simpson all staring at him with expectant expressions. The tension in the room was evident, thickening the air around them.

The look in Mr. Simpson's eyes as they met Mr. Edwards' gaze was very, intimidating, a cold and emotionless glare that sent a shiver down Mr. Edwards' spine. He found himself instinctively trying to avert his gaze in fear, feeling like a lump had formed in his throat.

“Speak! Did he agree already?” Mr. Simpson asked coldy, his tone authoritative and his eyes narrowing with impatience.

Mr. Edwards sighed, a hint of disappointment evident in his demeanor.
