Jason left the company, probably got something to do or someone to meet. I finish up early to leave during closing hour.

I got a text message from Lydia, something came up and she won't be waiting behind for me. She left immediately it reach closing hour.

I hope all is okay with her.

I took a taxi home that evening.

When I got home, I met Lora and Lizzy in the sitting room. Lora was helping Lizzy with her face mask.

"Hey girl, you're back home early." Lizzy said as she saw me enterd through the door.

I nodded and went to sit down, I was really tired and hungry.

"You look tired." Lora said. "Not that there was ever a day you come home looking less tired."

"I was at work, Lora." I pointed it to her, I relaxed my head on the edge of the chair.

Lizzy scoffed. "What do you want to eat?"

"We could order pizza." Lora suggested.

I shook my head. "I will eat whatever is at home."
