Kathleen pov

I sat down angrily staring at Ariel who eating an apple at the counter. She avoided my gaze because she knew I was angry.

"Nice one Ariel." I commented.

She rolled her eyes. "I am sorry I break the promise, it came out unknowingly. You saw what Jason doing and I don't know how to shut up when keeps pissing off."

"You could have said anything else, why does it have to be that." I dropped my head down and bit down on my lower lips.

"What have you done, Ariel? I have to stay with you until you fall asleep."

"You do realize I am not a child. I senior Jason with two year you know."

"Two years?"

She nodded and took a big bite from the apple she was holding.

I sighed frustratingly. "What wrong with Jason?" I murmured.

"You shouldn't have agreed with him on staying back. You're his employee in the company not outside. You need to stand when he wants to ride you." She said.
