Kathleen pov

After I left Jason house, I took a cab and went home straight.

Thanks God, his maid wasn't around.

If he finds out I was the lady from last night, he was going to fire me without having a second thought.

I slammed the door when I entered the house, alarting them I was back.

Lora walked out the kitchen nervously smiling.

"Hey Kath, you're back. I.. I made your favorite pancake." She said and that when I knew she knows exactly where am coming from.

"I don't pancakes, what I need is an explanation." I said and threw my purse on the couch.

Lora chuckled fakely. "What do you mean?"

"What do I mean," I scoffed.

"Guys, keep it down, someone is having an hangover here." Lizzy said as she walked to take a sit.

"Ohh right on que, Lizzy."

If I want the truth, I need both of them to start talking.

"What the fuck happened last night?" I asked watching them closely.

"What do you mean by what happened last night?" Lizzy chuckled. "We crashed you ex after party, had fun and show him what he was missing."

"Was that all that happened?" I narrowed my brows.

"Well I was drunk, you can ask Lora what you want to know. Wait, why has she being quiet." Lizzy gaze at Lora."Did I get have the cute bartender."

"What?"

"No I didn't, I woke up and find myself lying on the cold floor in the sitting." Lizzy said.

"Well you don't expect me to carry your drunk ass to your room." Lora said.

I gaze at the both of them.

"You could have least cover me up with a blanket." Lizzy suggested warily.

"I was the one who told you get drunk. You...."

"Enough!" I snapped.

"Wow Kath, you woke up in the wrong side of the bed." Lizzy said wondering why my face was gloomy.

"Yeah I did and guess who's bed I woke up from?" I crossed my hand waiting for them to guess right.

"Seeing you here this morning, I won't say you spent the night here." She gasped. "Did you go home with the cute bartender."

"I wish." I said between you my teeth.

Lizzy narrowed her eyes. "Then why did you spend the night?"

I gaze at Lora. "Care to say it."

"What? I don't know."Lora replied nervously, I knew she was lying.

"Of course you know. Looking at the way you replied, it obvious you know where she spent the night. Remember Lora, we can't easily read you so don't try lying, you suck at that." Lizzy stated.

"Well if you don't want to answer I will say, I woke up on Jason bed this morning." I said.

Lizzy raised her brows while Lora acted shocked.

I snorted. "Why that face Lora?"

"Wait, which Jason are you talking about?" Lizzy asked.

"Do you know any Jason that I know about?" I asked Lizzy and at that, her eyes widen.

"Oh fuck no way." She abruptly stood. "Is it the Jason Knight, your cute boss."

"Yes Lizzy, we had sex last night and I have no idea how it happened."

"What do you mean you had no idea how it happened? You both realize you like each other and went to have sex, easy pisy."

"Yeah when I was drunk. You know I wouldn't do that if I was in my right mind." I went on. "Now I will get fired for a silly mistake because my friend didn't try to stop."

"How would I know that would happen, I was also drunk remember." Lora said. Another lie.

"We all know you don't drink Lora and even if you drink, you don't get drunk." Lizzy pointed out. "Come on, tell us what really happened."

Lora kept quiet for some seconds. "Okay fine, we were dancing and when you got tired, you left us at the dancing floor and went to get a drink. I don't what really happened because I was paying attention to you but when I checked you at the bar, you were with jason."

"What were we doing?" I asked without letting her finish.

"That easy, they were making out."

"What? No, they having a conversation and it seem Kathleen like it, that reason I didn't bother going to meet her."

"I like the conversation? Lora, you know we don't get along well how on earth do you think I could be comfortable sitting with jason."

"You were laughing at what he was saying."

"Ooooo, that sounds fun." Lizzy said smiling.

"It wasn't, I was drunk. Then what?"

"I don't know, I couldn't find you or him at the bar, so I guess you both left. At first I thought you'd be at home but when I got here, you weren't. So I assumed you both went to his place or a hotel."

"Wow,"Lizzy uttered.

I bit dwon on my lower lips."I shouldn't have to the after party or get drunk or dress like that."

"Ohh don't say that. Yesterday was the best day for your life." Lizzy said.

"No it wasn't, I had to watch the guy I am still in love with get married eventhough it hurts so much to admit, I saw him sow to be faithful to her and be the father of her children. That was meant to be me you know, I got him first, I loved him first I spent five years of my life with that dude, I wish to have a future with him but it not all we wanted always happen as we planned. "I snapped.

" Kathleen. "Lora called calmly.

They know I was hurting yet I put on a show yesterday.

Lizzy sighed." We are sorry Kathleen, we shouldn't have forced you to that stupid wedding and make admit you are over him when it wasn't that easy. "

"Yeah it our fault," Lora backed up.

I shook my head and sat down on one of the couch. "I just so much hate Tony, it his fault not your guys."

"Yeah he is. He is an asshole, fucking jerk and a motherfucker." Lizzy said.

"Yeah so we shouldn't talk about him." Lora suggested.

"Yeah we shouldn't. What did Jason say when he saw you this morning?"Lizzy asked.

" He didn't, I woke up early before he could and ran away. I hope he doesn't realize I was the one he had sex with last night. "I sighed.

"Of course he won't, the both of you were drunk. He wouldn't remember what happened last night." Lizzy said as she came and sat down beside me.

"Yeah I hope he doesn't." I said.

"We should just forget what happened last night and Kathleen, you should pretend nothing like that happened with the both of you when you get to work."

That won't be that easy

I nodded. "And good at that."

"So let go have breakfast, I am staving." Lizzy said as she got up from the chair.

"Wait, what that noise?" Lora called our attention on the muffled ringing tone coming from my purse.

"That your phone, Kathleen." Lizzy said.

"Ohh yeah." I took my purse and bought out my phone. The caller ID almost gave me a panic attack.
