18. Confusing Acts

As soon as I walked inside the club, the smell of alcohol hit my senses and my eardrum was about to burst with the loud music. I couldn't see anyone properly due to the low light. I was flabbergasted about what to do. I was new to this kind of party. It’s not that I never attended parties before, it’s just I never attended them alone. My friends were there with me everytime. Now I have to figure out what to do soon.

Should I call Mr. Johnson?

But I doubt he would even hear his phone call in this loud music. So, I dropped that plan and walked around with a hope to find him. I needed to look for him closely as I couldn’t see anyone’s face properly.

"Mr. Johnson is waiting for you in the last suit of this floor. That side."

I held my heart at that instant as the sudden loud voice hit my eardrums. One of the waiters came to me and I was surprised to be honest. I was glad too as Mr. Johnson thought of me and got someone to direct me to him. He is more sensible than I expected.

I thanked
