Upon seeing the caller ID, Jane unconsciously glanced at Anderson and Piper who were sitting across from her.

Both of them stared back at her, curious. "Why are you looking at us like that? Who's calling?" they inquired.

"Just a friend. I'll take the call outside," Jane replied with a nod, before stepping out with her phone.

"Jane, answer the call here," Piper urged with a serious expression. "You know how much trouble you're in now. You should be careful."

Jane understood what she meant. With Ciara's brainless fans lurking around, it was not impossible for them to do something drastic if they spotted her. After all, she had received countless death threats online.

"Okay," Jane agreed, taking a seat and answering the phone.
