Upon Jane's ascent, Damien promptly retreated to his room and phoned Seth.

"Damien, what's up? I'm tied up."

"Busy chasing skirts?"

Damien stepped onto the balcony and inquired with an icy tone, "Why didn't you inform me that Jane will be joining the team the day after tomorrow?"

"Didn't she tell you? No? Then how did you find out?" Seth was puzzled.

Damien's expression darkened slightly, "I don't want to hear it from her next time."

"Hey, you probably don't want your wife to go far away." Seth said with a grin.

"No, I just never thought that you would develop an affection for her."
