Kurt stood behind the monitor holding the script while looking at Oliver. "Do you feel any pressure playing the boy?" he asked.

Oliver smiled, "No, it's been years since I've acted, so it feels quite fresh."

Kurt nodded and turned his attention to Jane. "How did you feel about your performance in the first scene?" he asked her.

Jane met his gaze and replied, "I feel pretty good about it myself."

Although she hadn't studied the role for long, she believed her interpretation was accurate.

"Okay, let's take a few more shots and prepare for the next one," Kurt instructed, turning his gaze to the monitor.

Jane was surprised. Did this mean she passed, with no reshoots?

"The assistant is calling you, Jane," someone shouted.

Jane quickly followed, but Oliver looked at her back and said to Kurt, "It's the first time a newcomer has passed with you, Director Kurt."

"How many times did you have to reshoot the first time?" Kurt asked.

Oliver coughed, thinking of his embarrassing past. "Never mind.
