"You were awake the whole time?" May asked, pulling away from the hug.

She stared into his eyes to be sure he is okay and not pretending. He nodded, giving her a smile though in pain.

"I am fine. If I knew you'd be worried about me like this, I shouldn't have opened my eyes. You look so cute worrying about me. Who would have thought you'd be like this?" He teased her.

She frowned, "It seems you are fine enough to annoy me. I should just leave and let your parents come look after you."

She stood up to leave, he stopped her by grabbing her hand.

"Don't leave. What if something bad happens to me after you leave?" He pleaded, giving her puppy eyes.
