Sirens wailed outside the hospital as Jared is rushed into the hospital. Somehow some reporters managed to get the news and are already there. May and Matt followed Jared into the hospital as he is injured on his arm. Jared didn't move, he just closed his eyes which gets May very worried.

They are not allowed to go inside the theatre with the doctors. The previous event replayed in May's mind. She recalls how she rushed to Jared and screamed his name. His blood stained her hand and clothes even though they are black.

"It's all my fault. This wouldn't have happened to him if he didn't meet me. What am I going to do? I don't want him to die." May cried, trembling in fear.

This is the first time in her life that she is so scared of losing someone. She is so used to acting so tough and expecting the worse in any situation. She doesn't even think she would cry like this if it was someone other than her best friend.
