The date ended well with them just bickering. Jared did not want to talk much, but Debra has a way of bringing out that side. The fact that he could only see May while he looked at Debra made it worse for him. He wanted the date to end as soon as possible.

He had no choice than to drop her home too. The ride there was way too silent. Debra tried striking a conversation and Jared would just ignore it. Debra did not give up with all the signs Jared gave her to stop.

"I'll see you in our next date. I think we still have a lot to talk about that we haven't done yet." Debra told him, as the car stopped in front of the house.

"I won't say I am looking forward to it. You know I don't like lies." He replied bluntly.

She shrugged, "No offense taken. Would you like to come inside and say hi to my parents?"
