Chapter 37

Nathaniel sat on his bed trying to complete a puzzle as a means of distraction but it seems not to be as he had planned. He walked out of his room for the first time that day. He sat in his sitting room, admiring how elegant it was, while appreciating the reflection of his billionaire title in his apartment.

A smile tugged the corner of his lips. "Hardwork pays!" He muttered. After a couple of minutes he rose up again and walked to his car outside. He looked at his wrist watch to have a knowledge of what the time says after which he started the car and zoomed off.

Arriving at James's mansion they sat in the living room, surrounded by the warm ambiance of dimmed lights. They had shared many evenings like this, and Nathaniel knew it was a place he could speak his mind freely. Despite the somber topic on his mind, Nathaniel decided to start the conversation with some lighter topics.

Nathaniel raised his glass and took a sip of his drink. "James, have you ever tried skydiving?"
