Chapter 10: Marry My Son

Three days later, Ellen enters the room where he had held her captive. The environment is gloomy and dull, making the space even more dismal. He smirks a little, thinking about how perfect the setting is for her. But to his utter surprise, he does not find any sign of her in that room. He only sees the broken window and several pieces of shattered glass on the floor, which makes him clench his fists in anger and frustration. "So, you dared to run away from my cave?" He says this, fuming with anger, while still smiling amusingly and thinking about her energy level. "Interesting! A vulnerable deer has escaped from the lion's cave! Remarkably interesting! It'll be fun to make your life more challenging." Ellen comes out of the house angrily and goes to the men he's kept to keep an eye on her.
