Chapter Eight

While in the car with Derrick Moore, Sheila occasionally winced at the thought of how she had to deal with the loan shark coming for her the next day. It was still a 42 hour ahead event, yet she needed to worry that much about it, especially because of the embarrassment that she has to face if she does not have the money to repay.

Her debt issue has been one of the numerous reasons why she had to find a job that could aid her to pay off those debts and free her life from the shackles of those merciless sharks as she usually calls them.

Still engrossed in her thoughts about how she would escape her debtors, Derricks' phone call woke her from her thoughts.
