Derrick noticed how nervous she was and decided to keep the conversation going between them so that she could feel more comfortable around him. "Do you live with Zoey in the same house?"

"No, she was expecting to see me in her house today but when she didn't Zoey became worried and called to check as I was unable to call and inform her earlier."

"Oh! I see." Somehow he felt relieved that there was nothing to worry about. He still had a chance if he could try winning her heart.

"Don't you ever eat anything at home? I noticed that your refrigerator was only filled with bottled water."

"I do cook, however, it's been two years plus since I cooked or had someone cook a nice meal for me in this house. The only thing I do is order takeouts when I'm at home and hungry."

"Just say that you don't know how to cook, I could tutor you on how to." Sheila giggles at him

"You're hurting my pride. I just can't walk to the kitchen and start cooking. The last time I tried it brought back old memories
