Chapter Forty Five

"What!" Derrick's voice sounded behind Zoey. He had closed early today so he could spend enough time with his girlfriend only for him to get to the door and hear that she was pregnant.

Sheila felt sad instantly. She knew he wouldn't like the fact that she was pregnant.

"You don't want the baby do you?" she asked him. She had told Zoey the same thing, that he wouldn't want the baby. Sheila felt her eyes sting with tears.

"Of course I do. How could you even think that? This is the best thing that has ever happened to me Sheila, because of you I get to be a father, thank you so much" he said and pulled her into his arms.

"You see, I told you that you were getting worried unnecessarily, why wouldn't Mr. Derrick want the baby" Zoey scolded her

"I will leave you two alone, I need to go meet my fiance at home as well," she said and moved towards the door.
