Frustration and fatigue ran through her whole body as she received yet another job rejection application. Kyla huffed, trying to relax at the foul mood she woke up to.

She didn't think it would be that difficult to secure a job in New York City, considering her qualifications and experience. It seemed that she secured her first job successfully because of having Blake with her. The thought alone rubbed salt in her wounds.
