After all the tiring classes and skipping cafeteria on recess, I walked out of the classroom, finding Justin in the exact same spot where I’ve last seen him.

“I’m hungry.” I told him as soon as his eyes fell on me.

“I’m taking you home.” He gestured towards the car as if he knew what I was about to say.

“Coffee and lemon cake, please.” I pouted.

He gave me a weird look, nodding anyways.

When we reached the café nearby, I grabbed the seat around the corner, next to window. He sat across the table and narrowed his eyes. “Gen Z.” He snorted when I clicked the picture of the café.

“You see me as some stupid kid, don’t you?” I asked, scanning the menu.

“I don’t see you as anything.” He grumbled.

“One cappuccino with extra whipped cream and chocolate syrup, one lemon cup cake and one rainbow truffle with extra chocolate chip.” I ordered.

“Just one Ice Americano.” He said for himself.

Once the waitress went away, he looked at me. “What are you? Five? Who eats this much sugar?”
