Rain

Okay now I know why my "family " selected him

HE IS MAD!

"oh, Mr.I don't know who you are and don't care "

"well you'll have to as I'll be your husband," he said with a very serious expression

I don't know why I have this uncontrollable urge to laugh whenever he tries to be serious with me, because the poor thing thinks I care, I thought rolling my eyes

"Look Mr. I don't know why my family thought they'd fix marriage for me and I'll say yes but I am telling you this I won't marry you so if you are desperate for you to know ahem ahem ... I'll say find some other unsuspecting girl who will ask 'how high?' when you say jump," I said to him and a range of emotions crossed his face

while I went into my room I heard a shocked chorus of "rain"

and I just opened my favorite story to read while plugging earphones in my ears and increasing the volume to maximum

after some hours.....

"I don't wanna get married like ever!"

I said in front of Hope and Raisin.

"you know right you have to get married and from what I heard from your sister he was kind of handsome"

"oh yeah so? Jamie Dornan is handsome, Ian Somerhalder is handsome, Zac Effron is handsome, so can I marry them ?" I asked while giving them my best innocent expression.

"you know life someday you'll have to marry and from what I and hope found out he is the sole heir to his dad's business, has 1 sister, is a good brother and a good son good employer little ruthless but good"

"Listen, good brother, the good son is a recipe for a bad husband the guy might be a mama's boy for all I know and please he was so arrogant he thought I was going to marry him, he did not even ask what I wanted, you'll know how much I hate such kind of high handedness " I huffed

"Yeah yeah we know for the past 9 years we have heard your 'so high' opinion on guys," said Hope sarcastically

"Well, I can't help it if all of them are douche! you know that Jack asked me even after dropping not-so-subtle hints about my disinterest " I said rolling my eyes

"I think we better go raisin before rain here makes us count all are bad decisions regarding boys" stage whispered hope

"you guys are so mean" I pouted

while my friends left I just analyzed today's day

the only thought running through my mind before sleep overtook me was

"He is handsome..."

next day...

I got ready for my office in a pale pink top and grey pencil skirt and wore my heels when I came out as usual my mom was fussing over my sister who was pregnant and completely ignored me

I know I sound like a complete bitch but hey common if it happens from when you start understanding what happens it does hurt and never really goes away

"Hey, sis how's the kiddo ?" I asked my sister

yea irrespective of my family I am on good terms with my sister

"it's fine rain just started kicking "

"wow I am going to become an aunt," I said excitedly then quickly kissed her baby bump and left.

I was working at my office when my secretary Rishabh knocked on my door

"Mam, Mr.. Jay Goyanka wants to meet you"  he said

wait Jay Goyanka is that jerk

"has he made an appointment because you know I don't talk to anyone without an appointment!" I said a little rudely

"Yes mam yesterday itself he took an appointment he says he has a proposal for you " Rishabh replied

what the fuck! I thought I could just avoid him, but he is smarter than he looks

"Common wifey this is not the way to treat your husband!" Jay says poking his head inside

"I am not your wife, and will never be !" I hissed

"You may leave now " he calmly said to Rishabh

who left in such a hurry as if he was going to miss a train!

"Look Mr. goyanka I don't know what my parents said but I don't want to get married, so you may leave and please don't drag this situation further I have no interest in you, " I said; I think he is a reasonable guy he will understand.

"But I need you" he replied

clearly, I was wrong

"ohh look Mr. goyanka you might have misunderstood me I am not interested in you or any other guy for that matter" I clarified as we all know boys are slow so...

"look rain -"

"its miss.Agarwal for you!" I snapped

"So as I was saying, look rain "

he continued as if I did not interrupt him like oh god! such arrogance!

"you know rain till now I thought maybe if we talk you'll understand but I was wrong, so here's my proposal either you marry me in 3 days or your jiju loses his job, and with the baby on the way are you ready to see your didi and jiju on road?"

what the hell did he just blackmail me !?

"Who the hell do you think you are? my jiju works hard and is a well-reputed employee in his company! And how the hell will you even touch him to make him lose his job is beyond me, you have lost it"

I said with confidence.

"you know I thought to give your jiju a raise but with your this kind of attitude I don't see that happening !" he retorted

"You are delusional My jiju works for the JZ group they are good people, not some bastard like you !" I hissed, the guy was trying my patience

"Mind your language! And JZ stands for Jay and Zaira my sister " he replied with a smirk

"WHAT!?" I was shocked I didn't know what to do or say

"how? What? how? When? Again what?" I know I sounded stupid but did this man have that much power

"Yes my birdy so be ready to be my bride in 3 days or your family will pay, especially your sister I am giving you tonight to come to my place to discuss further details after I am desperate for sex, aren't I? See you at 7 at my house ill text you the address"

saying that he went near the door but turned back

"and yes as my wife you'll not wear such clothes which make people's imagination x-rated with that sexy office secretary vibe you give I won't tolerate it well you can wear that for me in private " he gave me a wink and left

I was speechless what the fuck just happened!?
