Chapter 114 "Saving a Friend"

It’s cool and dark outside of the car. Dark clouds hovering above and heavy drops of water fall from the dull clouds. The streetlights of the morning blurred with the flow of water on the side windows, our speed not fast enough to force the drops flow back along the windows.

The rain on the windshield is pleasant to watch. The way the drops clump together and make small river that travel to the window before being slashed by the windshield wipe.

It’s calming to watch the water move as it wants, making new trails as the wind fights to push the raindrops upwards.

‘Calming? Yes. Right now I need to look and focus on the things that will make me calm down as it was freaking awkward here inside Cyrus’s car.’

Hearing the sound of the wipers which occasionally slid up and down, I took a sigh before shifting my head towards the window.

Just a moment ago, I told Cyrus that the reason why I was kind to him is because Haidee is my friend and that I know that he loves her.
