Chapter 66.2 "Fake Date"

Lance and Jane looked at the beautiful man who went to their side. The first one who smiled at the woman was Lance.

“Oh, hi,” he greeted. He raised his hand to signal the girl that she could sit down on the seat across him and Jane.

The confused woman blinked her eyes as she sat down. Her parents told her that the heir of D&E corporation agreed on this blind date. That’s why she was so puzzled why that heir, Lance, brought a girl on this blind date.

On the other side, Jane was shaking in nervousness. It is a good thing that there is a table between them so she can hide her trembling hands.

‘This is to repay my boss' kindness and for… money,’ Jane cheered herself.

Aside from repaying Lance’s kindness , the only thing that gives Jane extra strength and courage is the prize that she will get after all of this. Praying inwardly, she tightened her grip around Lance’s arm.

Lance noticed her grip, and he gulped his dried saliva.

“You are Kate Morral, am I right?” Lance asked.
