Ava's smile turned sly. "Let's just say I've been doing some digging into my family's investments. And I found some interesting things." She tucked the document back out from her bag, feeling a sense of satisfaction at having the upper hand in the conversation.

Alexander's frustration was palpable as he glared at Ava. "Fine. You win. But you'll regret this, Ava. You can't just walk away from a business partnership like this without consequences."

Ava's smile faltered slightly at his words, but she refused to back down. "I'll take that risk, Alexander. I refuse to work with someone who doesn't respect me or my opinions."

Ava thrust the termination papers at Alexander, her eyes flashing with determination. "You have to sign these, Alexander. There's no other way around it."

Alexander's hand hesitated as he reached for the papers, his mind racing with thoughts of what this would mean for his company. "Ava, I need to talk to your dad about this. He needs to know what's going on."

Ava's ex
