The elegantly adorned dining room exuded an air of sophistication and refinement, its polished wooden table set with gleaming silverware and crystal glasses. Soft candlelight danced upon the delicate china, casting a warm glow that contrasted starkly with the iciness that had settled within the hearts of the guests.

Rose stood at the entrance of the dining room, her footsteps faltering momentarily as she took in the sight before her.
