Chapter 45

Hilda who was still in the storage room after a long while started to feel cold.

It was winter. Staying in there without a heater, Hilda could feel the chill seeping into her body and spreading through out her limps and bones slowly.

Hilda then moved her stiff fingers and touched her cold joints that were starting to ache from the cold. The first time she was frozen like this in the Adams residence, she had rheumatism after Mrs. Adams poured cold water in her bed and allowed her to sleep on it till the next day. And now...

Thinking that she might die if she was cold any longer, Hilda's body trembled. She stood up and started pattering the door along side shouting for help but no one responded.

Hilda shouted for a long time until her throat got burned but no one payed attention to her nor responded to her.

Feeling so chilled, Hilda spoke in a trembling voice. She had lunch before coming over but with all the screaming and patting on the door had drained up all her energy. She felt bad
