Angel saw Dave coming out of his sister's room with a downcast face and a momentarily blank stare. Angel approached him so Dave lifted his gaze and only then could Angel see the sadness in the man's eyes. She didn't say anything, moved closer and hugged her husband tightly.

He buried his face in the crook of his wife's neck and took a deep breath to find the calmness he could find strangely in Angel."We'd better go home now," Dave said, still hugging Angel, his voice muffled by strands of hair."What about Daisy?"
