Terry POV

I lay the papers on my desk and stare at them as Daniel walks into the room. He glances at them and then grabs one reading it, “You ran a background check on Mark?” he asks, looking at the paper. I click my tongue and he looks at me, “But you got nothing?” I fish through the papers and hand him another. His eyes go wide, and he shakes his head, “Assault and battery but never charged?!”

“Yeah,” I say, passing him three more papers. Daniel gasps, “There are 6 women here who dropped charges!” I nod, “Yeah, Mark is rich. He has fancy lawyers. There are also sealed juvenile records.” Daniel gasps and I sigh, “Money talks. I have someone working on getting what’s sealed. I want to know what we are dealing but I think Audrey is in trouble.” Daniel’s chest huffs up and he walks to my closet, grabbing my baseball bat, “Well, don’t just sit there! Let’s go!”

I shake my head, “In time brother. He is beginning to become very possessive though. I am always listening,” Daniel looks at me
