“What do you mean?” Gray’s eyes went bigger as he totally confused. “Did she hurt you? When? Why didn’t you tell me?”

Leon didn’t answer. A part of him was relief that he could finally let it out, but the other part of him felt guilty because he just spilled his mother’s secret.

“Leon!”

“What’s with the screaming, Gray?”

Both Leon and Gray turned their heads quickly at the source of voice. From her reaction, it looked like Sierra didn’t heard their conversation at all. Leon, with his critical response, answered right away, “It’s nothing, Sierra,” he even added a cheerful laugh, “I just teased him for fun.”

The woman narrowed her eyes in a judging manner. “I thought you guys are going to roll on the ground again.”

Receiving the signal from his friend, of course, Gray followed along with an awkward smile. “He told me that he’s never going back to his home. Sierra, what should we do?”

“Well, I’m going to take him home by myself. G
