“Yes,” Sierra replied expressionlessly. From her pocket, she pulled a white envelope and passed it to Leon’s mother. Leon couldn’t hide his curiosity, but he didn’t dare to ask anything. Truthfully, Sierra also didn’t know the content.
The lady slowly opened the seal and pulled out the letter inside. With a strange expression, she read the letter carefully. Then, her lips curved up as she finally reached the end. “I always hate this old man, you know.”
It was a brave thing to say in front of a stranger. “Mother!” Leon raised his voice as to remind his own mother. Nevertheless, the lady spoke as she got up, “Thank you for taking my son home. Now, I think our discussion is finished.”
