A piece of me

The wind was restless and so was I, as I paced around in my already tidy room, I guess someone took the liberty to clean the mess that Rubi made before I returned. I had given a great thought about what I planned to do. And no, I didn't like the idea of leaving too but I knew I had to, everyone here has been really kind to me. I couldn't repay them by putting all their lives in danger with my mere presence. I already knew what I had to do, I needed to leave, for everyone's sake. With my bracelet destroyed, it was only a matter of what monster would get to me first. just impossible. They were planning on hosting a bonfire party, Gemini told me it was more of a traditional thing that happened every month and there would be lots of visitors around. I could use that as a distraction to escape.

I heard a knock on my door, interrupting my sprinting thoughts. "Come in." I responded.

"Hey, Natalie," Dixie said, sticking her head in, her face had a bright smile. Dixie was Alexa's twin sister.
