CHAPTER 29.1
Made of SkinMERLIN SWEATDROPPED as he stared and observed the humanoid in front of him created by an entity. He still has a smirk on his face but it’s also undeniable that he fears what this creature had created.
After all, the humanoid was made supposedly to become human or at least, resemble a human. But the way it has a grotesque appearance, he can't help it but to point out how fucked up this thing looked like. It was just all skin and bones that peeked through the parts that weren't stitched properly. It has no eyeballs nor a proper mouth. It looked nothing but a being created to haunt for eternity. It’s disgusting.
Merlin may appreciate the effort of creating something that would resemble a proper human but... Instead of this, the demon could have just possessed the person who summoned it.
“You... You’re strong. I want you... Your
CHAPTER 29.2Plunging to Chaos THE AURA SCATTERED across the forest now and all of them are affected. He hissed because they’ve been finding a way to get in but it seems like the chances are close to nothing. “Are you stupid? Bakit mo kinuha?
CHAPTER 29.3What Lurks Around the Corner THE MOMENT THEY arrived into the battlefield, Selene was immediately distressed with the amount of bodies scattered across the place and the blood that splattered and painted the ground. The thing is, some of the bodies were not just clones, rather; they seemed to be actual humans before they were brought to their end. Apparently, the body seemed to be eaten alive. There were still traces of the black aura around it. It seemed like he dissipated when he was embraced by the aura last time. “There’s a demon here, right?” sabad naman ni Jonas ‘tsaka napaismid. Despite that, Selene still saw the man sweat drop. &l
CHAPTER 29.4Val’guz WHEN SELENE AND LUCAS’ troupe joined the battle, Captain Favian and the others were surprised. But then again, they can’t do anything since they’re already here and they are well informed of how grave the situation is inside the fog. The thing is, they couldn’t find them anymore. Thus Captain Favian assumed that they might’ve escaped already or they are goners.
CHAPTER 29.5Movement “MERLIN’S DOWN! Everyone, get the priests here!” The thing is, Selene wanted to think that he’s just fatigued but as soon as she saw blood from his clothes and there were some traces of crimson on the ground, she felt nervous. The same time that something kicked in her veins because Merlin’s blood smelled good — like flowers. Maybe she noticed but chose to ignore it, but her thirst spiked. But Lucas’ ac
CHAPTER 30.1Flustering Conversation JUST LIKE WHAT Lucas mentioned, their ‘rest’ wasn’t even an actual break. Aside from the bandits that would occasssionally attempt to rob them, whereas they always end up getting chased away, their travel to the aforesaid Kingdom was peaceful. Selene heaved a sigh. This is a troupe-thing problem. Merlin’s presence is beneficial because he&rsqu
CHAPTER 30.2Mischief THE DAY THEY got inside Izquierdo Kingdom’s territory, that’s when things began to turn upside down. The peace died down and they were occasionally attacked by more bandits and some knight troupes. This is done in order to hold them back and if any of those people are lucky, they could struck her down— dead. Then, it’ll be automatically the Demelza family’s win. But this tactic is too... shallow and weak. It just felt like they were fighting pesky mosquitoes for the sake of wielding their weapons then poof, everyone’s gone and crimson’s painting the ground. Some knights have grown overly confident, too. Easy win kasi sa kanila ang nangyayari. Parang kahit hindi sila mag-angat n
CHAPTER 30.3 To the Princess’ Devastation HINDI MABILANG NI Selene kung ilang beses siyang napalunok habang pinagmamasdan si Prinsesa Luan sa pinakaitaas ng curtain wall. She’s been sweat dropping and she’s been gesturing everyone not to move from where they’re standing on. If not, something terrible might happen to the Princess of Izquierdo. Princess Luan stood at the curtain wall while she’s staring at Luca
CHAPTER 30.4Spark of Misunderstanding “SINASABI KO NA NGA ba’t mahal mo talaga ako, Lucas! You just made it seem like you don’t like me,” diri-diretsong sabi ni Prinsesa Luan. Her voice sounded alluring like it’s tempting Lucas to listen to her and sure, she has a nice voice— it’s just that the magic she’s trying to cast on him won’t work. Not in front of Selene and not in front of anybody else. She’s not that convincing, after all. She didn’t even do a proper research about Izquierdo Kingdom’s history and assumed that they’re the heroes although in reality, her family fo
