The Equinox Ball (III)

Rain was forced to go back into the Ball. It wasn’t hit but it was suffocating and what was worse was the sight her eyes met, Alexander and Andrea hand in hand…walking around like a bunch of teenagers that just lost their virginities to each other.

“Where have you been? I’ve been looking everywhere for you!” Rain was startled by Viola’s sudden voice, the woman stood behind her, her cheeks flushed red and her smile even wider than the past few minutes.

“Did you have more to drink?”

She nodded and then shook her head and then burst into a fit of giggles before placing her fingers over her lips.

“Oh my God, I’m drunk!”

“No shit,” Rain said with a laugh, Viola pulled Rain in for a sudden hug and planted a kiss on the side of her cheek.

“What was that for?”

“The dance is about to start, come so we can hand our cards over to the matron,”

There were going to be seven dances, not everyone chose to fill their cards with names but because of how many offers Rain got, her card was full.
