Chapter 31

A knock sounds from the study door, drawing my attention as well as Tyler’s. We have been working together more often as I deal with my work remotely rather than commuting to the office.

“Come in,” Tyler calls. The door swings open to reveal Cole with a thin stack of papers.

“We have a slight issue,” Cole states.

“What do you mean?” Tyler asks.

“The rogue attacks have been growing more frequent. We don’t know the cause of them, but here are the reports on each attack for you to look over,” Cole explains.

“Thank you,” Tyler says, taking the papers from Cole. “Have there been any casualties?”

“None as of this time. Our warriors only sustained minor injuries. All attacking rogues were either killed by our warriors or killed themselves in our cells. We haven’t been able to get any of them to talk before they are found dead,” Cole replies.

“Alright. Arielle and I will look over everything and make a decision. Thank you for reporting this to us,” Ty
