The heat hitting him today didn't deter the man neatly dressed in an expensive suit from stepping out of his car. He didn't need a hat just to ward off the sun that could give him a headache. The issues that came his way were much more troubling than just avoiding the sun's heat.

His steps lead to a grave he had visited not long ago. The bond formed years ago made occasional visits feel like no trouble amidst his busy work schedule.

Once again, he checks his belongings. "Hey, Uncle," he softly greets, placing the bouquet he guarded throughout the journey. "How are you?"

No response, just the whisper of the wind. Cool, but it sends shivers down his spine. Did his greeting receive a response? Who knows. Richard didn't want to find out.

"Does Austin visit often?" He chuckles. "I don't think so. He comes when he needs you. But don't worry. Austin still can't accept your departure. He's still filled with regrets, but sadly, your son is foolish, Uncle."
