After I left Bryant's house, I couldn't count how many missed calls I'd gotten from Mr. Nathan, Nolan, Madam Leila, and of course, Bryant wasn't exempted from it, but I never answered any of their calls because I didn't have plans of going back to Bryant. He didn't deserve me.

I didn't have much money on me after I refunded Mr. Miles the money he spent that night that Jake got into trouble, and the one he spent at the hospital.
