The moment we teleported into the room, she angrily sat on the bed, doing her best to avoid me.

“Lisa?” I called, and she murmured something incoherent.

The last thing I wanted was to lose her. For the past few months since she arrived, I had kept from her the fact that I had spoken to Finn. Even though she had met him once, she had no idea he had been coming here every day just to see her. I was scared.

I was scared that she still loved him, even though he had hurt her. The thought filled me with jealousy and frustration, making me question why I couldn’t have her all to myself. Why did she choose Finn over me? She said she accepted me, but I knew she was still struggling to fully open up to me. Despite being wolves, my family had welcomed her with kindness.

“Lisa," I called out, despite my urge to hold her firmly and tell her how much I wanted her in my world. I wanted her to be the queen here so much. If she stepped out, she would see everyone b
