CHAPTER 39

~Audrina~

I was about to walk away when James pulled me backwards. He took my hand into his hands and I saw a soft look flash across his face. I knew this look wasn’t going to last for a long time. James was known for his act of switching up and very soon he was going to switch, yell or just do something that would upset me in general.

As James hands traced the lines of my fingers. I felt the feeling I had felt the time I had left the room. It was the sudden burst of excitement rushing through my like a thousand meteoroid.

My silly heart was beating in my chest rapidly,and I wanted it to calm down. ‘This was James remember.‘I said to myself. But my words had no impact on my it was like I was trying to use rocks to stop a fire. It was useless.

I groaned intensely and my wolf was the only my one who had heard me. I waited for her to speak or finally tell me she knew a way to put me out of my misery. Sadly, James bold voice had cut through my thoughts and I placed my focus on him.
