Feeling much better after I met with the matron, I headed back home enjoying the cool breeze of the afternoon brushing against my skin.

I made my way to the bedroom, picked an apple from the kitchen and took a bite. Because I left work early. I decided to work from home and send emails to my clients and catch up on everything I wasn't able to do at work.

The clicking of my keyboard and the quietness of the house made me concentrate but the elder matron's words kept filtering in my ear and I wondered if I could stay away from Jalen.

After working for an hour, I took a break and stretched my limbs. Outside my door, I heard a voice downstairs and I groaned. frustration

This was the worst time for Ivan to come. I headed downstairs to see him. He held a bouquet and a box of chocolates with a broad grin on his face excited to see me.

"Hey, beautiful. You're frowning as usual. Seems like you aren't happy to see me."

"Of course, I'm happy," I lied and he led me into one of the private living

So yeah she’s weak and pretty pathetic for still living at home at 24 years old. And she’s a spoiled brat. Hell she can’t even stick up for herself. Not sure if I can continue to keep reading much more. Ugh
