“She still hasn’t messaged me, can you believe her?”

“Have you thought of texting her?” His voice came through the speakers as I tried to navigate my way through the traffic.

“Why would I?” I barked easking my foot off the gas.

“Because you’re clearly upset about the distance”

“I’m not upset, she should enjoy her time with her boyfriend”

“Is that a problem?”

“I didn’t say it was” I bit out, squeezing ghe steering wheel between my fingers. I wasn’t annoyed by the cute picture Hannah had posted about twenty minutes ago with Kyle behind her, his arm around her neck and her tongue sticking out.

Whatever.

“Okay”

My eyes dropped to the map and the back up, and I took the next left as indicated. “I even tried talking to her this morning after class thinking she’d have calmed down by now, know what she did? Just walked away! Who does that? It wasn’t my fault that Heather is trying to get friendly with me, and I have done nothing to encourage that might I add”
