Chapter 44 Bullets

George blushed, "Did I distract you too?" George questioned, smirking and kicking the man while hitting his nose with the gun's end.

Shrey rolled her eyes and started firing, but just two rounds were left in her pistol.

She pursed her lips and glanced about for ammunition or an already loaded gun, but she couldn't locate any.

"Here, take this," she sighed and threw the gun. George hurled his gun towards her, and Shrey grabbed it, looking sincerely at George, who had no weapons left but grenades.

"Grenade won't work in this packed room since he won't use it," Shrey thought, and then she heard the gunshot.

And when she realized he had been shot by a bullet, she became numb and dropped the rifle, cried "George!" and drew the attention of the men surrounding them.

"Ahh," George groaned in agony, having been shot in the left hand, although the bullet had barely pierced the skin's perimeter.

He glanced towards Shrey to reassure her that he was OK, but his eyes widened as he noticed two guys
