The new lecturer is hot

It has been a week since I received that damned message. Miguel, who has gotten tired of asking about my plans, decided to let me do things at my pace —not that I intend to do anything, for now.

“You seem so lost in thoughts.” Pearl plopped down on the chair next to mine. “Good Morning!” She shrieked so loud that I had to cover my ears with my hands and shoot glares at her.

Her outbursts caused the few students in the class to cast glares at us before they resumed what they were doing.

“What's so good about the morning if you scream that loud?” I narrowed my eyes at her, a moment from hitting her forehead on the damned desk we got for our philosophy class.

She rolled her eyes at me as she tucked a stray hair behind her right ear, with a grin on her face and a lot of sparkle in her eyes.

She's putting on a black gown, which is longer than all the clothes she has ever worn since classes started.
