In the middle of the night

Dahlia and the general got to Durville in about forty minutes. They had no reason to slow down as they were both vampires. It was only when they got to a path that would either lead to his house or the castle that Lorenzo stopped. Dahlia stopped along with him.

"Is there a problem?" She asked.

"Should I take you to the castle... or you want to spend the night in my house?"

"Easy choice there. Your house. There is no need to disturb those at the castle as it is the middle of the night and they are already sleeping." She then turned to him and winked.

He lowered his head, but his gaze was on her, then he gave her a boyish grin.

"If only you know how you look right now." He then tried to wipe her face which was stained with dried tears with his palm.

"Oh." She then tried to wipe it by herself, but he caught her hand.

"Allow me." He said, and she dropped her hand. He then used his thumb when he saw that the palm wasn't really doing anything. Finally he gave up and decided that she should
