I put my makeup bag on my desk, wiping off the cakey foundation and smudged eyeliner on my face with a dreamy smile on my face.

I kissed Vlad ... Vlad kissed me.

I love Vlad ... Vlad loves me.

My excitement was infectious that I couldn't help laughing loudly. Thankfully the room was almost empty as most of the girls were still enjoying themselves at the hall.

On our school's social media site, there were uploaded photos and videos from the party, including homecoming King and Queen.

I took a deep breath and went back to removing my makeup and lipstick while trying to let go of the lingering jealousy I felt, which made no sense because Vlad was helping out.

I stared at the cotton swab, which had become a riot with all the different colors of makeup on it.

A small part of me worried that Nova was cooking up something very dangerous to get rid of me. My hands instinctively went to my phone.

"Don't look at your phone," my subconscious warned me. As usual, I ignored it
