Chapter 55— Declaration of love

Rosalie's lids fluttered open and her hands moved on the bed she was in. Once again, she was back to a life filled with excruciating pain.

"Rosie," Alexander reached out for her at once and Rosalie sniffed when she sighted him.

Memories flashed in her eyes, telling her the need to be away. That woman was her half sister. She wanted the same man her sister wanted. She couldn't take that.

She sniffed and bit on her lips, "I want to be away from all of you," her voice was barely audible but of course, Alexander fathomed her words.

"Me too?" He questioned as he gazed at her.

"You first," Rosalie answered and his jaw dropped.

His head fell into his palms and he sniffed. When she ran, it hurt him. He had to run after her. He was scared all while she was asleep. Fear filled his heart that she wouldn't be fine.

When she collided with the floor, his heart jumped to his mouth. He knew everything was weighing her down. He understood what it was and he was sorry for everything.
