Chapter 42: The destruction

I was still trying to digest what I just heard from these guys when they began to pull me out of the gathering. My tears didn't stop from falling as I tried my best to escape from their grip. I am just a she-wolf and my strength to them was useless.

However, I didn't expect what just happened next. Those guys who were about to bring me out from the gathering were suddenly blocked by a man. The man whom I didn't expect to appear when my life was in danger. My heart began to pound as my eyes locked to him.

Alpha Ares looked so terrifying as he glared at those guys dragging me out.

“What are you doing with this girl?”

It seemed like my world had stopped moving for a moment as those words echoed through the place. Despite the loud music being played, Alpha Ares' voice can still be heard which captured a lot of attention from the visitors.
