“Please don’t hang up the call” he pleads and I pause because I was just considering doing that.

“Hurry up with what you want to say…..I am quite occupied at the moment” I urge him because I have way too much on my plate to start worrying about someone like him at a time like this.

“I have been meaning to talk to you for a while about the misunderstanding that we had….” He trails off

“I guess the right words that you are looking for should be betrayal because the issue we gave is nothing close to a misunderstanding but a glittering act of betrayal” I cut in to correct the notion.

“What is there to hear out?” I question him because I have a feeling that he is trying to make it look like I am over reacting over a job issue.
