/Brian’s POV/

I tried my best to console Meelah so that she could feel better because it was just extremely weird to see someone that is always in control of her emotions so vulnerable, and I just wanted to make her feel better, but she did something that caught me off guard and I still find it hard to wrap my head around the fact that Meelah Kissed me.

As soon as her lips met mine, I froze because I was trying really hard to decipher if she really kissed me or I was just overthinking the whole thing, but when it actually dawned on me that she kissed me, I just comported myself with the excuse of wanting to get her food so that I could get myself out of the situation because I didn’t want to overreact or look like a prude.
