Socially drained

My Eyes snap open, and I suddenly manage to sit up while covered in a cold sweat with my body shaking and my heart pounding.

I looking around the room suspicious and paranoid because I remember that I was in the car just a few moments ago, and I have no idea how I got to the dimly lit room.

With the fear of Mrs Kings and Eloise that I just saw Moments ago, prying into the topic of my moms death still lurking around clouds my mind , I get up cautiously ,shivering as I rub my head and eyes fully waken so that I can be sure if they both followed me here or not, while still trying to navigate the dimly lit room with the candle I can see from afar as the only source of light in the room.

The rattling of the door knob suddenly gets my attention, and in no time the door flings open making me scream in terror only for someone to walk in and shut the door almost immediately.

“What is wrong with you” I hear Brian’s voice resound with worry as he flicks the switch, while I try to adjust my v
